How Do You Know? Starring Reese Witherspoon, Owen Wilson, Paul Rudd and Jack Nicholson.

How do you know? You get butterflies in your stomach? What does that mean anyways? What exactly are butterflies in your stomach? I get more of an upset stomach and can barely make it to the bathroom…in fact, on one occasion…

How do you know? When you adapt to them rather than expect them to adapt to you? I don’t know. Whenever I finally get it right, I will be able to offer sound, successful advice on the matter. Until then, I will continue watching chick flicks that allow me to nurture the fantasy-land Disney movies built for me long ago. I will continue to watch other women, like Reese Witherspoon, get it right on-screen, despite her real-life divorce to that guy that is not Jude Law, but who I always confuse him with. Didn’t he cheat on her? Who cheats on that spunky, cool little girl who won our hearts in “Man in the Moon” (not the movie with Jim Carrey), and has continued to create a little, soft Reese-spot in our hearts?

Sorry Reese, my fellow Aries, for what I’m about to say…In this movie, well…not your finest, But, it’s you, so who cares?! I got the warm fuzzies (much like a drug-induced seratonin high), but it took you at least 1 hour and 10 minutes out of a 2 hour film to achieve that effect, which usually takes you less than 30. Thank goodness for that girl who plays Paul Rudd’s assistant (I forget her name, but she seems to like being out-headlined by blondes). And thank goodness for Paul, who’s sweetness wins your heart. And yeah, Owen’s always fun to watch, but it wasn’t his finest moment either! And I won’t even mention Jack Nicholson…Jack, really? this movie? are you hard up for cash or are you gettin’ soft?

Look, if you find yourself bored one evening, or you are traveling 5 hours by plane (like I was), and Netflix is offering an Instant Play (not worth adding to your regular Queue), or i-Tunes is renting it for $0.99 (please don’t pay more than $4 like I did), then get it…after all, it’s Reese.
